diagram: ‘unprofessional’ – evening living room phone gag
Loved filming this scene, such a creative collaboration between all of us on set to get this one done!
summary
Our talent walks up to the wall to discover there’s something behind it, so we smashed a fake wall!
An Intellytech Mega-8 acts as the key, and is motivated by the practical you see in the 2nd frame to camera left.
A Kelvin EPOS 300 is our moonlight, casting the blue hue through the windows.
An incandescent practical on a dimmer inside a tall paper lamp was our kicker light on the opposite side of the key.
Lastly, the chandelier in the dining room already had incandescent bulbs in it, and did a lovely job of filling the dining room with orange glow so we decided for efficiency to meter our scene to that!
